The Conclusion

There are cheaper alternatives out there for a Sub homage like the Invictus Pro Diver or Pagani Design Sub Homages. There are better and more polished ones as well like the Steinharts.

But the former ones can sometimes compromise a bit too much — the Invictus Pro Diver does not have Sapphire Crystal for example and some others are troubled with quite a lot more QC issues. For the likes of the Steinhart watches when the price hits the £500+ mark, all of a sudden it’s competing with the likes of TAG, Longine, and Tissot, all of which carry their own heavyweight. And to be honest, it’s still quite a lot of money for a lot of people.

To put it in perspective, the Cronos Subby provides exactly the same specs, more colour choice and similar level of build quality. So the choice for me is simple — it is one of the best value for money Sub homage out there, if not the best.
